Growing the campus without disturbing the work.
The brief was renovation, expansion, interior changes and additions, carried out so that production and administration were never disturbed. Subtle architecture decisions respected the earlier design while maximising light and ventilation throughout all the buildings. Inside, every director’s cabin was planned as three distinct zones: a long work desk with no visitor seating, a meeting area and a private lounge.
Alternate grids, opened wide.
The method was to open alternate grids with huge openings, which also freed up wall surfaces for services. On the white facade, one deep grey frame holds two levels of glazing, and the scale and proportion of the openings add a sense of magnanimity for the users of the space.
