Traditional craft, closely observed.
Kantha-patchwork cushions in red, yellow and orange sit against black carved-wood armrests, while a low side table holds a trio of brass figurines and a diya. A red table runner and a small red bowl carry the same warmth onto the centre table — small, hand-worked touches set deliberately against the dark wood.
The first impression, set at the door.
A sheesham-wood cabinet with louvered doors greets you at the entry, topped with a pair of terracotta figures and a carved stone bust set on a woven runner. A brass wall sconce lights a framed artwork above, echoing the same warm-wood, brass-and-terracotta palette carried through to the living room beyond.
"Dark carved wood, brass, and hand-worked textiles — carried through every corner of the room ."
