A renovation, not a rebuild.
The brief was to retain as much of the existing admin block as possible while infusing new life into the same footprint. At the entrance, a black-and-wood reception counter sits beneath the suspended “Vega Biotec” nameplate, alongside a slatted wooden shelf holding small potted plants and ceramic bowls — a considered refresh rather than a rebuild.
Texture over ornament.
Frosted glass partitions replace solid walls between cabins, letting daylight travel through without giving up privacy. Where finishes needed a refresh, large-format stone-textured wall panels stepped in for busier detailing — a minimum-intervention approach that lets the existing volumes carry the design.
"With minimum interventions and a subdued play of colors, textures and greens , the spaces became more appealing."
